“Secrets Unveiled: Behind-the-Scenes of Guntur’s Election Preparedness with 4,620 EVMs!”

Efforts are underway to conduct a transparent special summary revision of the voter list in Guntur’s Bapatla district, as affirmed by Collector Ranjath Bhasha. During a recent meeting with representatives of political parties, he assured that all necessary precautions are in place to safeguard the substantial number of EVM machines that have arrived in the district.

Safe storage units currently house a significant inventory, including 4,620 ballot units, 4,620 VVPAT machines, and 4,200 control units. To ensure a seamless voting experience for citizens, polling stations are strategically arranged within a one-kilometer radius, in accordance with the regulations of the Election Commission.

In the Bapatla district’s six assembly constituencies, a total of 1,507 polling centers are in operation. Out of these, 54 centers have been earmarked for relocation to new buildings. Furthermore, 99 polling center names have been updated, and three new polling centers have been established within the district.

In total, 4,620 VVPAT machines and 4,200 control units are securely stored, ensuring the smooth and efficient conduct of the electoral process.”
