supporting students’ academic progress

The NMMSS awards scholarships to meritorious students each year beginning in class 9. These scholarships are renewable for students enrolled in classes 10 through 12. The scholarship offers 12,000 INR in year financial aid.

Through the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) method in the Public Financial Management System (PFMS), the scholarship money is transferred immediately to the bank accounts of the chosen students. This guarantees that the beneficiaries will receive effective and hassle-free financial support.

Verification twice

Applications for scholarships are verified twice by the National Scholarship Portal (NSP). The Institution Nodal Officer (INO) is in charge of the initial verification, which is carried out at the institution or school level. The verification stage has a deadline of December 15, 2023.

The District Nodal Officer (DNO) will perform the second stage of verification at the district level following institution-level verification on December 30, 2023. The thorough analysis of scholarship applications is ensured by this two-level verification procedure, which also increases transparency in the selection procedure.
