"Ravi Teja's Bold Revelation: A Bollywood Icon's Films Inspire South Indian Remake Craze!"

Ravi Teja, who is currently in the midst of promoting his film “Tiger Nageshwar Rao,” has expressed his deep admiration for the timeless cinematic works of Hrishikesh Mukherjee. In an exclusive interview with IndiaToday.in, the actor revealed his keen interest in the prospect of remaking classic Hindi films in the South Indian film industry.

Ravi Teja has previously tasted success with remakes such as ‘Rowdy Rathore’ and ‘Kick,’ which originally starred Akshay Kumar and Salman Khan, respectively. When asked about the possibility of directing a Hindi film for the South Indian audience, he responded thoughtfully, “The era of remakes has faded, and today, people have access to a diverse range of films. However, among my personal favorites are the masterpieces directed by Hrishikesh da (Mukherjee), such as ‘Gol Maal,’ ‘Angoor,’ and ‘Chupke Chupke.’ These films hold a special place in my heart, and I would be thrilled to work on such iconic projects.”

Regarding his upcoming film, ‘Tiger Nageshwar Rao,’ the cast includes Ravi Teja, Nupur Sanon, Gayathri Bharadwaj, Renu Desai, and Anupam Kher, among others. Directed by Vamsee and produced by Abhishek Agarwal under the banner of Abhishek Agarwal Arts, this pan-India venture, co-produced by Mayank Singhaniya and Archana Agarwal, is all set to hit theaters on October 20, 2023.
